Team building is something which is super important for us to do as a business and it allows us to get to know our fellow workers much better than we did before, as well as allowing us to try something new which might normally be out of our comfort zone. Today we are going to take a look at some ways which we can bring the team together in fun ways.

Cruise

There are a lot of fun ideas out there for activities which we can do with our team, and one of the most fun of all has to be a cruise. You can book a night or two on a cruise ship with your team and attend a cruise meeting and party of your own. It’s something which is unique and different and will be the ideal way to bring everyone together outside of the office.

Football

If you have a team which has about 20 people in it, then one of the perfect things you can do is play football against each other. You can put your office into 2 teams and whoever wins will get a prize, and it will be a great way to have some fun and get fit as well as learn to work as a great team together.

Sports day

If you are on a tight budget as a business and you don’t want to spend too much on a team building trip, a simple option could be to have an office sports day with activities both inside and outside the office. You can have waste paper basket ball, chair races across the office, table top tennis on the desks and a whole host of other games. Put people into small teams of 3-4 people and have a scoreboard for each event to see where everyone stands.

Escape room

For a smaller team this can be a fun activity to enjoy during the day time at work and you’ll be able to get a lot out of it. An escape room can be a great way to see how everyone works well under pressure as a team and it can be a fun way for you to make some real steps to becoming a better team player. You’ll have an hour to escape from the room and you’ll really be able to see everyone put their individual skills to use.

A residential trip

One of the things you can always arrange with your team if you have a bit of money to spare is a residential trip in the countryside where you can spend lots of time doing fun activities and exercises as a team. This can include things such as raft building, obstacle courses and orienteering and it can be a great way to see a different side to the people who work for you. You’ll be able to see a whole new side to everyone in the team and this can be a great way for you to get to know the people behind your team. nd your team.
