Make sure you give yourself enough time to spread the word. Depending on the kind of event you are throwing will determine the kind of marketing you will need. Think about contacting local radio stations, websites, posters, emails and in-store signage. – As much as you can do to advertise what you’re doing and why people should come.
Build the buzz
With technology better than ever nowadays, you need to take every advantage of this and use social media to connect with your target audience and build a relationship as well as interest so they become excited about your event. You can throw out teases a few weeks before the big day by posting photos, videos and any other news you have. You can do this on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. If you don’t have time to manage all the accounts, get an employee to be in charge of it.
